The University of New Mexico was in need of a new entry point on campus for new students and members of the community interested in visiting the campus. Having been situated in the historic John Gaw Meem building that was once a dormitory and office space, the new Lobo Welcome Center infrastructure and interiors were redesigned and reimagined by the talented and local McClain+Yu architecture firm in 2024. The location now houses a courtyard, event space, exhibition space, a “great room” room, and administrative offices. Beck Total Office Interiors provided furniture to support these spaces and ais honored to have an integral part of bringing the proud Lobo Spirit that this new welcoming space will exude for years to come.
